Our Values
Excellence, Integrity, Professionalism, Innovation, and Community Service guide our operations and shape our students into compassionate healthcare providers.
Our History
Established in 1976 as the first School of Health Technology in Nigeria under the visionary leadership of Late Joseph Dechi Gomwalk, our institution was created in response to the national need for trained primary healthcare providers. The school was founded to implement the Basic Health Service Scheme, now known as Primary Health Care, as part of Nigeria's 3rd National Development Plan.
Our guiding philosophy, "Your Health is our Concern," reflects our commitment to developing healthcare professionals with strong technical skills and proper value orientation. Over the decades, we've maintained our leadership position in health technology education, earning elevation to College status in the 2000s under Governor Joshua C. Dariye's administration.
